Perspective is Everything. Photos used to be taken as the capturing of "fact" in the moment', "truth" in a split second. For better or worse, today's images can be targeted to exclude fact, influence a narrative, and manipulated to sell a particular fiction or otherwise lead the viewer towards a particular conclusion. Often, the real story is outside the scope of the image. I find my Black & White work gravitates towards interpretive moments, neither good nor bad, but neutral in a way that empowers the viewer to find their truth in relating to the subject. Perspective is Everything.
