Project: A Portrait Study

I was busy photographing a flower outside and I converted the photograph into a black and white image in my own way. I noticed the strong contrast that emerged in this process. I had been working on a separate project from a photograph I had taken of an enlarged print of a portrait I had made a few years ago. I decided to further approach the project by introducing the concepts of light and color as if the portraits were painted outside En plein air. I feel as a photographer and took that feeling of light and color and transposed it into the portraits.
