Water

Water is primordial and mysterious. The forces that animate its depth offer only a glimpse of themselves on the water’s changing surface. It stirs my imagination, and I contemplate the mystery revealed in its dance of light and dark. Photographing the water in high contrast black and white, these photographs capture the tension etched in the water’s surface, and the explosive energy released when that tension is broken.
