Ghosts of the Golden City

These images were made on the streets of New York City. They developed out of my gradual realization that street photography in the traditional sense was not able to convey the things that I wanted to say about life on the streets of the city. I didn't exactly know what it was looking for but eventually I found a way to let the camera show me.
