The Responsibility of Illusion
When you see an illusion are you looking at it with your eyes?
Describing the air,
Or maybe you feel one with your heart?
Describing love.
When you touch an illusion are you doing it with your fingertips?
The texture imagined as though it was real.
And if you taste one,
Are you inside a favorite restaurant, alone,
Watching someone else do the same?
Illusions ride merry go rounds.
A dizzying display as they turn.
Some fall off.
