Recovering Humans

Recovering Humans is an attempt to show exactly that, people who are returning to a more normal way of life. Some are recovering from homelessness, addition, prison, abuse, the list goes on. Each story is surprisingly different but hold a common theme. That this could happen to anyone. It is said that it takes a village to raise a child but this project shows it also takes a village to bring people back from the fringes. In other words, sometimes we all need a little help. So, through a good many volunteers, donations, non-profits, businesses and government programs each one of these portraits shows a Human Recovering.
