Trees and their colors,
The pleasures they contain.
The Summer a feast.
The Winter paints plain.
Spring and then Fall,
The colors do grow.
Into avenues of adventure and layers to behold.
The charm in this vision.
Amazing to see.
The glitter of light,
A wave in the breeze.
Notice how subtle the grass does unfold.
The birds all together.
Their music is bold.
Come wrap your toes in this utter delight.
Hold it sacred, to feel it.
To sense that it’s right.
Trees and their colors,
Pretend if you will.
Winter has passion.
Summer has jewels.
Spring mentions lilacs.
Fall sends our souls.
Looking at trees and the colors that they hold.
This tree was photographed in New Orleans on a warm summer day.
Trees and their colors represents an artistic license to instill within each image my impression of the verse, Trees and their Colors.
Each photograph contains layers and impressions which I worked on as reflections inherent in nature that I sense. The artistic license to bring my ideas to my photographs and express within them the heightened sense of colors, the abstraction of the compositional placements of components in my photographs , and the joining together of different photographs is challenging. There always exists a measure of excitement and amazement that it can turn into something anew. I especially enjoyed working on this project as it is similar to the joy of seeing the approaching change in seasons!
Please enjoy, Susy
