The hands, the light, to change life, art, the world. The shots are inspired by Artemisia Gentileschi, with painting and audacity, she changed her life, art and the world. This project is a study on the female figure between present, past and future and on the woman in her facets: difficulties, courage and her infinite souls. Art as an instrument of liberation from prohibitions, torture and oppressions. In the photos there is a clear reference to Caravaggio in the use of light, dark and dramatic tones to represent the unconscious and the intense darkness of thoughts. The mirrors, recurring in the shots, involved in the woman in her accusations and deep souls: angry rather than offended, torn between earth and sky, caught in a dramatic intimacy in her home but never bent, not delicate and delicate but strong and proud, where his body is writhing under the weight of emotions. "Courage" is a manifesto against violence against women, neither torture on her body, nor the violence of the words that riots bend her; she, so specific and passionate, disobeys the schemes, what the world demands of her - submission - thus fighting against a male-dominated world. Disobedience is not only an act of rebellion but the search for freedom.
