Quarantine Static

As we all receded into our isolation with shelter in place orders around the world, digital devices became the only connection to the world and people outside of our homes. Information and mis-information continuously found its way in, always looming in the background like white noise, an impossible to ignore reminder of the ever-present danger outside our walls. Since I couldn’t turn my camera to the streets I instead turned it toward that giant window in my living room, otherwise known as the television. That gave birth to this series of photographs of CNN news reports. While these are each individual photographs, the series is meant to be viewed together as one large grid, like a wall of T.V.s dominating the space.
