Liquid Sky

I have been exploring the concept “Between Painting and Photography” Since the late 1980’s. I have recently been isolating in the Adirondacks because of the pandemic, and have engaged my study head on in the isolating landscapes of the Adirondacks. The Adirondack wilderness is filled with beautiful estuaries that provided a wonderful canvas for my Liquid Skies. This series of photographs are single images, and not photoshopped. I use the camera as a tool to define the abstractions seen in the water reflecting the skies above. The layers of reflections and transparencies become the impressions you see here.
