With the help of photography, I try to tell stories of ordinary people, whose lives have touched mine, to give each of these people a voice and space in a busy world that cannot afford to stop and listen.
It is not a matter of capturing an unrepeatable moment in time, but rather of enclosing and representing a whole life in a single shot. And that's how it starts to emerge those fears that we normally keep to ourselves, the doubts that assail us when we find ourselves alone, the satisfaction for success, the gratitude towards a loved one, the fear of the unexpected.
These stories are not told by their protagonists, and perhaps they have never even been lived. These stories are the result of imagination and suggestion, born in the mind of those who can stop and look at these photos with the attentive gaze of an investigator of souls. What we see it’s just a projection of our lives, our fears and doubts, our satisfaction and our gratitude, in the eyes of the characters of these photographs.
