Subjects of Maternity

Art Project with daughter Klára, 3 years old 2020 In „Subject of Maternity“, I have used the contrast of a grey pencil representing the rational adult world and my daughter‘s colour adjustments that symbolize children‘s creativity and their emotional world. I drew the objects that I´m using with my daughter in everyday life. Once finished with the drawing, I gave it to my daughter and let her paint, draw and apply tape and stickers directly on the drawings. Klara enriched and also destroyed the drawings to an extent. The same is true for life with children: they enrich and also somewhat destroy what their parents do.
