At an elevation of 7,900 feet, the Atacama Desert in Chile is an other worldly landscape, that literally takes your breath away. From the salt flats to the volcanos, and the mirror like high altitude lakes between, the colours of the landscapes range from sun bleached hues, to deep purple, dark red, saturated blues.
