Lockdown

In Canada, mobile caravans are used 3-4 months per year. The remaining time, they stay closed in the trailer camping or they are stored next to the owner's home. In rare cases, they are stored in a farmer's open field or next to a forest. I created this series in the winter of 2020 to make a parallel with COVID-19 lockdown. My goal was to convey differently the feeling of a lockdown while knowing it will get better. I drove over 1000 kilometers to find caravans that were isolated, small, had various designs and could be framed similarly. Less than 5% of the caravans met my artistic vision.
