This autobiographical project tells the story of a family and of a place. It is about living together and apart, capturing quiet moments alone and with others. I am interested in portraying our daily lives and exploring the issues of privacy, intimacy, identity and the dichotomy between our interior and exterior environment and our private and public lives. The project also looks at the neighborhood we live in and how that plays a role in our everyday experiences. The suburbs can be breathtakingly beautiful and sinister at the same time and I want to show both the peace and isolation that one can feel living out here.
