Project info

"I began this project in 2010, and it remains a work in progress. These landscape pictures taken with a long exposure are made using the light of the moon when it is full to illuminate my composition and the light of lanterns with different color temperatures in the foregrounds. It's a job that requires a lot of planning and depends entirely on the good weather. In 80% of the expeditions I made for this serie, I did not get the desired images because of bad weather. In the mountains the weather changes rapidly. These are single shot pictures and not Photoshop compositions.

I want to show what the eyes cannot see in the dark, when you find yourself in the middle of nowhere and you feel tiny, unsecure, but surrounded by an infinite beauty. "
