Forgotten Places_ Crossing America

Crossing Southwest-America, traveling through places that were neglected for a long time. Countless forgotten, abandoned structures and ruins are dispersed through the dry Mojave landscape. To an imaginative and investigative mind, these derelict buildings instigate a curiosity to know more about their past. Desert structures left behind like impermanent artifacts and unexpected findings in the natural landscape by settlers and an early automobile culture of the 1950s that went from boom to bust, judged by what the era left behind. Compared to the ancient desert landscape, our lives are short and our interventions inconsequential.
