It has been 50 days since I am on lockdown. On March 11 2020 the Italian government prohibited all movements of people within the national territory, so I am home since then.
I live alone and every day are uncertain. After savoring weeks of solitude and contemplation, I feel vulnerable and inconsistent, looking for new prospective. Can my inside be my outside?
I am not sure what next day will hold and what news to brace for next, but my home, the finite space where I am confined, is withholding all what I am.
I choose to navigate this uncharted territory exploring the deepest, truthful side of me, the one that just wants to exist. Here is my personal wacky approach to defeat fear and loneliness, a tribute to my strength, my desires, my obstinacy. This is my dissonant, visceral attempt to become my own refuge. A surreal silent cry.
