Atltantic City 2008-2014
It's hard to put in to words the way I feel about Atlantic City. On any given summer day, amongst the beach goers and discount hotels stays, are flashing lights, drunk gamblers, mylar balloons, smoking teens, babies screaming, food trucks, and the constant construction next to the "Going out of business" signs. Its a frenetic sundae for the eyes, waiting to be devoured as quickly as you loose your money. Behold my love of this beach during the daytime hours and deep into the night, on and off its boardwalk. Even with all its programmed entertainment, there is a feeling of calm and hope. Although I am constant in my search of its grit, I take comfort in the seagulls, croon against the backdrop of fluorescent billboards set deep into its sands.
