Lonesome Outings

Lonesome Outings portrays Dubliners on their daily journeys around the city since the COVID lockdown restrictions began to ease in Ireland.   I’ve tried to capture a sense of aloneness in these images, reflecting the isolation many of us have felt over these past months. Our daily lives have been limited and this changes how we move through Dublin.   My photographic approach is simple: I wander slowly through town with my Canon 6D, pausing here and there to watch people moving around me. When a person or a scene catches my attention I make a photograph.   I hope you enjoy my work.
