Horses have been a grand passion of mine since childhood. After graduating college I became a professional rider, and from there went on to start and build my own business scouting for and selling competition horses from the US and Europe. Particularly now, in these moments when travel isn't so easy or able to happen, I am incredibly grateful to have not only had the chance to travel so much of the world when it was at my fingertips, but to do so in a way that allowed me to truly immerse myself and experience such a wide variety of different cultures through an international community of people who are united by their passion - for horses and for the sport.
Experiencing the journeys in this way has allowed to make life long friends from all corners of the earth, create fond memories to cherish forever, and learn many valuable life lessons, some the hard way. My passion for horses has lead me on journeys I never could have even dreamed of, and offered me the opportunity to see the world from such unique vantage points. These vantage points are also largely what inspired my love for photography - the desire to capture these memories in unique ways. The images in this series depict both the journeys I've been on, as well as the various vantage points from which these journeys have been experienced - in countries from England to Germany to Holland to France to America - to name a few.
