Kansas Wetlands - Daily Journeys
We visit our local wetlands most days, all year - 10 minutes from home. These visits have many purposes and pleasures, with family and on one's own. For me, one project is to capture moments, using the speed and flexibility of digital photography. For example, I have been following the life cycle of the reeds at our wetlands systematically for the last year. Even without looking back, this builds a greater appreciation of the annual cycle of growth and death. The images in this sequence are one of an infinite number of possible strands of my experiences at the wetlands. It is my pleasure and practice to share these experiences with others.
