MigraZoom is a participatory photography project, that creates spaces of inclusion between local communities, migrants in transit, shelters, CSOs and local governments.
In this project we create bridges and networks for understanding the migration issues and social cohesion with the desire to promote respect for human rights, dispel prejudices between the two communities, because despite sharing the same space they are totally unknown to each other.
MigraZoom was awarded with founding by the United Nations Development Program, and became part of their "cultural projects in the communities of transit migrants in Chiapas and Oaxaca".
We deliver disposable cameras at different points along the migration route and collect them in migrant shelters.
Participants documented their journey, through which show us his vision of the migration experience, the difficulties they face, the complicity between peers, people, places, the supported of the communities, etc.
