Covidtorians

These series of self-portraits were taken during Summer 2020 when going out of the house had become prohibitive due to COVID. I pictured myself in the Victorian manner wherein women were to be pretty but constrained. The once lively flowers are now drooping and the sitter is left in her various distressed psychic states, repressing her desires to be out of the house and be free to express herself outside the bounds of society.
