Entering through the doors to the glass cabin at Hadeland Glassverk is like coming to another time. The glass cabin is like a pulsating heart - in fire and smoke, glowing mass is transformed into fragile glass. Here, in Norway's oldest industrial company, fifth generation glassblowers work.
In this project, I want to show that despite challenges, old craftsmanship can survive in a time where the cheapest possible production often is the solution. At Glassverket, the production of glass still takes place according to the same methods as when it was established 250 years ago in 1762.
