They were photographed very often and you see them all the time. But now I treat them as if they were people, capturing interactions with themselves and the environment. Sometimes in harmony, sometimes contrary, always in dialogue with the environment and the viewer. To believe for a brief moment that they are not installed, but have a life of their own. My way of presenting them, not to be seen as usual through the long shot, but up close and with a lot of color as a stylistic device of drama that goes beyond the installation. The images should work primarily through their aesthetics and hide their supposed depth. It should also not be obvious at first glance that they are mannequins. The presentation of the attention-grabbing photographs plays with the viewer's inattention.
