This is a personal project to fight against powerlessness and meaninglessness. I attempt to perceive time in a different way through photography. Furthermore, I can understand more about the relationship between life and time, and the meaning of it.
Triggered by a panic attack in a dark tunnel which could almost have caused a car accident, when I saw the floating light passing by which is similar to what people describe as near-death experience, I started to reconsider what really matters to me in my life. When the linear time goes to its end, family, love, and friendship will all vanish; what will remain by then? By the time an individual’s life comes to an end, what will remain?
Light contains enormous energy. It guides me to move on and create. The light in my works belongs to individuals and it’s private—every individual can find their own light.
