A set of portraits taken during the pandemic. Everyone is online. Information buzzing between their ears. Desks are piled high. The light is both cocooning and illuminating. The Image at the top of the page tells the story, but the second image in the middle of the page displays more of the students character and the text is a collaborative input from the student. The text is our clue as to what the student is studying, where their interests are taking them.
As we explore each page from top to bottom, we are zooming out from a confined environment at the top of the page, to a broader character study in
the middle - ironic as the student is not in this image- and finally the text at the bottom of the page brings a more universal awareness of thoughts.
During the pandemic which is restrictive, our thoughts offer an inner escape.
