Ashland, Oregon (Pop. 20,000) is comprised of a uniquely eclectic demographic due to its rural setting and as host to a university and the renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Farmers & ranchers, students, actors, artists, writers all coexist with a working populace and a growing number of retired folks.
