In our visually jaded world simple infinitive forms, next-door-people, -objects, and -places become more precious. Exaggerated aesthetics, physical and spiritual exhibitionism and unprecedented quantity and quality of visuals create a need for simple things, usual places, ordinary people. These works are an attempt to interpret portraits in their usual rubrics, e.g. beauty-, street-, narrative photography in the light of the contemporary zeitgeist. "Simple things" is an attempt to predict modern visual language.
