Submission

I am very interested in people, how they think, and how they live their lives. Portraiture allows me to examine and explore those whom I meet and find interesting. It is a shared experience. If they feel comfortable with me, they allow me "in" . At that point, I try to capture what I see and feel about them. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It is all part of the experience, and the interpretation. For me, the goal is to capture something of the sitter; going beyond a "snapshot."
