As Long As It Lasts
Project info

The idea for this work was born at the beginning of the coronavirus lockdown. A series of questions that started to preoccupy me during the shutdown - how will the world emerge from this period and what will its impact be on our personal and collective psyche - led me on an artistic quest to document how the self-isolation was affecting others, too.
All the participants in this portrait series hail from different backgrounds and nationalities – but what they all have in common is finding themselves in Doha during these extraordinary circumstances.
As its title - “As long as it lasts” - suggests, the project will continue for as long as humanity is tormented by the effects of the pandemic.
