In 1979, my father proudly passed his reliable Minolta XD-11 SLR to me at the age of 16. At that moment, I fell in love and photography became my passion. Soon after, I married and traveled the world as a member of the United States Air Force. Sadly, during those 22 years of service, I never felt that passion for photography as strong as I once did. Maybe it was the demands of marriage, fatherhood, and divorce, who knows. Well, one year ago and 15,000 shots later, that passion returned and I'm baaaack!
Two years ago, I experienced a positive life-altering dynamic that transformed my triad of life...My spiritual, mental, and physical being has become more acute, and photography has become one of my therapies.
I'm an avid LensCulture follower and when I saw this contest at an affordable submission price, I simply said, "why not me?!"
