The year 2020 was the year of quiet days due to the pandemic lockdown. Being a loner, I always crave for a little solace. Some people find it unsettling— the absence of sound and motion— but for me, it is rather peaceful. Everyday, I took my camera with me and walked the still neighborhood. I didn't know what I wanted to capture, so I began to only wander and notice. It was interesting to always find something in the foreground, mid ground, and background. Gradually, I found rare images of my own reflection. Only I was there with my camera watching the symmetry, the shadows residing permanently until the morning, observing their gentle and steep fall taking different shapes and sizes. The scenery spoke to me. There was a newfound sense of belonging in those moments, even if it was for a limited period. This project is about those moments.
