Irune Orbea, born in the Basque Country in Spain lives and works as a photographer In Paris with her family in a not big appartment where has been confined for mouths, and has created this serie in that moment of frustration where has not other possibility that to play the housewife 24h 7/7. it is a series of photographs of self-portraits taken through reflections in everyday objects that bears the title "Without a room of my own" in homage to Virginia Wolf's essay "A room of my own" (1929) with her famous sentence « A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction. The self-portraits are taken in the reflections of everyday objects that form my reality during this special period and that give me shape literally and figuratively.
