I've got your back
In the genre of street photography, story telling and facial expressions are often sited as keys to a good image. The quote "Get closer!" too is rather a cliche even. Some would encourage to try not to photography people from the back. I sat on this submission for a few years but have found that people's back are rather interesting. And I have many many photos taken from the back. Sometimes it's the surroundings, the clothing, the action or inaction. But mostly, I found my brain trying to complete the picture. In that, viewing from the back, at an interesting subtle moment, makes my mind wanting to see what the person looks like. In my mind, there is a face already, it is trying to complete the incomplete, adds (or more accurately trying to solve )to the mystery.
