Salt marshes of Lankashire. UK lockdown 2020.

During the first Covid-19 lockdown I ended up with my family on a remote farm in Lancashire, UK. There was no one there to enforce social spacing measures and very little human contact apart from a few distant neighbours. So, I used the unexpected opportunity to explore the surrounding salt marshes that form naturally on the coast during high tide where one of the rare subjects worth documenting were the unperturbed grazing sheep. The picturesque salt marshes of Lancashire proved to be an ideal setting, offering an immense relief in the times of stress and great uncertainty in the pandemic that was gaining momentum.
