Our Favorite Murder Suspects

This group of images are linked by a kind of dark frivolity and humor. Most were made during the Covid 19 pandemic, as I sought some mental respite--however morbidly inflected--from the distress everywhere. They reiterate certain themes and motifs in my artwork generally: masks, antiquarian and folk imagery, history, alternative sexualities, and 'Englishness' of an odd sort. The titles offer a unifying context.
