Look Beyond

The Thunder's Five are Milan's baseball team for the blind. Their secret is the strong sharing of friendships, important events and torments that in 2019 will see them as Italian Champions for the seventh time. The race at crazy speed with blindfolded eyes, the shot at a ball without seeing, the sliding dive on the red diamond ground. These are normal gestures. Looking beyond the normality that society tells us, living their stories, we find normality in their daily gestures. A different normality compared to sighted people, but still normality. This story is about victory, not the victory of winning a game but the victory of living life as it is by sharing joys and sorrows with the people we love.
