An Irresistible & Daunting landscape. A lake with no name. Walker Glacier. Alsek River watershed, Alaska. To stand among willows, the first plants to grow on land exposed after millennia. To place your hand upon a the floating ice shards of that vast ice-river. To touch the reflections of the roiling gray sky. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing… is more primeval in my life.
