About the pictures I work with staged photography. Instead of registering or interpreting the physical world around me, I create small new worlds that the viewer is invited to explore. I create photos that appeal to the imagination, inviting the viewer to form their own stories from the pictures. The nude figure The figures in my pictures are nude. If they were wearing clothes, they would be placed in a specific time-period and in a specific cultural context. The nude body, on the other hand, is universal - transcending time and space. It gives space for the imagination and builds upon a long tradition of visual art, where especially, mythical figures are often depicted without clothing.
