'Alone'

This is a series of photos created on the theme of solitude. I have been observing people all over the world, wherever I have been lucky enough to visit in the last couple of years. My particular focus has been on individuals and their common need for being alone from time to time. This seems to me a universal yearning. Whether simply daydreaming, problem solving or looking to the wider world for solace or hope, the world is united by the search for light. I hope this series of images captures that shared human experience, especially at a time of such global uncertainty.
