In Mejorada del Campo, a satellite population of Madrid, a neighbor of this town having to leave the religious community where he lived due to health problems, the construction of a complex dedicated to the faith was proposed around 60 years ago as a promise of get cured of the disease he had contracted
From that initial chapel that had been proposed, his commitment to carry out this work has led him to the construction of a unique religious complex of considerable dimensions and endowment complexity whose Lombardian eclecticism gives a differentiated image to this "Cathedral of Justo" as it is worldly known. this complex built by hand from recycled material and in which various religious spaces stand out such as the nave of the church with 3 naves and choir, the chapel, the crypt, the baptistery and the cloisters and others of assistance and reception of the that the refectory is in use and others still to be developed.
No project documents are known except for a modern layout that is shown in the temple as the final image of this building complex, but the fact that this work was carried out slowly in a suburban town around the great capital of the Spanish state , a population that maintained its village character until the late twentieth century, made this building effort of Justo take on dimensions that the experts and local urban planning services, given this sufficiently accomplished fact, have only had to certify its existence that already had reached levels of diffusion in different communication spaces such as that famous advertising spot and that curtailed any action that would prevent the continuation of the construction work and that now a team of professionals is analyzing aspects that ensure its structural viability while showing it as example of a work made with materials from recycled heh
As happened in the past, it is not known if the "architect" of this work will see his dream come true, something inherent in the great cathedral works built well into the twentieth century and of which the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona (Catalonia) is still today. A living example of this, but what is true is that this Cathedral of Faith, as it is now called, has put the improved Campo on the map.
