Family View

These images are from a larger project titled Family View. The characters in the images are my family members. I photographed my sister and her daughters to help understand female identity in a time that my sister had chosen to have breast implants. Another layer to the project is that I have never had children so I have always been fascinated with the relationship of my sister and I to our mother as well as the relationship of my sister with her daughters. My sister and mom parallel each other with regard to child rearing while I remained childless. I'm also fascinated with female identity so my family provides me a great vehicle in which to explore it.
