I've selected two of my favorite B&W photos here, if only because it was so difficult to select just one. The first I am very proud of, it was the first photo I captured which made me feel like I could be a photographer, and it still resonates with me. It's inherently political and yet it captures just another day in the life of four young men. The second photo I've attached puts me in the state of mind I wish to be in when I try and capture photos. The title comes from the title of a book, Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind. It's a philosophy I try to live with daily.
