Avian Sense of the Way

The Brooklyn Waterfront Park is home to a diverse community of seagulls, pigeons, ducks and geese, whose seasonal presence is as vibrant as any multi-ethnic neighborhood in New York City. On daily walks during the pandemic, I was inspired by how they take on life freely and seemed impervious to the anxious concerns of the humans in their midst.
