Rain mostly makes us more aware of what's in the sky than when there's just a brightly shining sun. When it's falling, we look at where it lands, at where we walk, bowing our heads under caps and umbrellas. But when it's over we look up again, at a blue breaking sky chasing the last clouds, while at our feet we see its reflection. The kind of mirror kids jump into to break them. Or the kind of mirror that shows us our streets as we didn't see them before. Mirrors that make us wonder what's up and what's down.
