Plastic doesn't biodegrade - it just breaks down into tiny toxic pieces. Long after we are gone, plastic will progressively infiltrate ecosystems, creating abominable new forms that will exist for eternity.

Plastic found in the landscape, shot on expired Polaroid 55 film. The vulnerability of this old film - with its fragile emulsion and its solarisation - is a counterpoint to the non biodegradable nature of plastic: it creates the impression of a landscape being re-made and the laws of physics re-written by the plastic that subsumes it.
