This project, tries to explore the physical world of human beings, as opposed to the virtual one, to capture the existing harmony present in all things.
When I speak about physical world I am not only speaking about something that I can see right in front of me, feel in the skin, hit, or sweetly caress. The physical world is what I see, and what I can't see, but exists beyond the surface: like Consciousness, for example, present in each thing in a different grade of evolution.
In this duality of existence, discovered already in subatomic particles, everything fluctuates,, randomnly, depending on the observer's point of view, and the moment.
That's why the word "observing" is the first one of this project and there is no such word as "understanding". No matter who I observe, or when I observe him/her, or how I observe her/him, observation is always Creation. And the observation of the Physical world, attaches me to the Physical world (and keeps me afar from the virtual one.
For example, if you take pictures 1-2-3 (the monks, the japanesse women wearing the Kimonos, and the girls at the bus stop) as a whole, and if you observe them simultaneously, you can see the framing of the three follow a new different pattern, than each one individually do. The position of the subjects create a wave, which is not present en each photograph individually. A wave is one of the two states of elementary particles, besides matter, what fluctuates and can't be seen, but exists. And it is consciousness, as well; energy beyond matter.
It means that, with three different pictures taken in three different places, we can observe something new, more holistic, and based on random observation.
Observation is Creation. And I portray the physical world as it comes to me in each different instant I shoot the picture. In each different instant I edit it.
The physical world is outside there, with its many textures, range of framings, range of representations; as life itself. No virtual Metaverse and no avatar, invented to recreate or, even worse, to substitute my physical existence, will make me happier, or more loving, or more spiritual. Plants, animals, minerals, human beings are, each one of us, small parts of the physical world, and observing them as parts drive me, inevitably, towards the whole.
Think about it. Evolution is chored in the hereditary function of the the physical world. Each thing, as body and consiciousnes (mind and soul), and as opposed to a virtual avatar, emerges from it, as part of it.
But we are being expelled, like rockets, from a physical world towards a virtual one, which grows and grows until, in a few years, it will become the centre of our lives through the creation of the Metaverse.
And myself, like the confussed passenger of a sinking ship that is told to jump into the water to safe my life, am being told to jump into the virtual world that, suppossedly, will make my life easier and will make them earn lots of money.
Good bussiness, specially for them!!
That's why I decide to be close to the physical world (in this project: Human Beings) and observe them in order to love them, to feel them, and to search for harmony.
Streets are an inmense set to find harmony. Like Robert Doisneau said, you only have to walk, walk, and walk.
This is how I like to observe the Physical world, without any other formal restrictions apart from my own aesthetical informality.
