Scenes Change Before They Are Over

A prologue to a personal story Gert will unravel throughout his next projects. This first part consists of photographic collages combining 35mm photography, found images and vintage papers. As in most of his work he is layering and redefining memories. It is his way of remembering lost time and dealing with his fear of losing and letting go "Nothing distinguishes memories from ordinary moments.
